About the Role
We're looking for a passionate Robotics Engineer to help us build the future of intelligent hardware. At imply+infer, we're creating systems where AI lives at the edge—in robots, drones, and autonomous machines that think and act in real-time without cloud dependencies.
You'll work at the intersection of hardware and AI, developing robotic systems that leverage our edge computing platforms to deliver unprecedented capabilities in perception, navigation, and manipulation.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop robotic systems integrating our Jetson-based edge AI platforms
- Build perception pipelines using stereo vision, LiDAR, and sensor fusion
- Implement real-time control systems for autonomous navigation and manipulation
- Collaborate with our AI team to optimize models for edge deployment
- Create robust, field-deployable systems that work in challenging environments
- Contribute to open-source tools and documentation for our developer community
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in robotics engineering or related field
- Strong proficiency in ROS/ROS2 and real-time control systems
- Experience with computer vision, SLAM, and sensor fusion
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
- Familiarity with embedded systems and ARM-based platforms
- Experience with NVIDIA Jetson or similar edge AI platforms is a plus
- Background in mechanical design or hardware integration is a bonus
